Horror in Canada! Camping washed away, roads destroyed! Flooding in Quebec


The heavy rains have caused the Gouffre and Mares rivers to overflow in Baie-Saint-Paul.
The damage will be enormous in Baie-Saint-Paul as bridges, roads, a campground and several buildings were destroyed by the flooding of two rivers on Monday in Charlevoix.
Monday evening, the mayor of Baie-Saint-Paul, indicated that around 200 people had to be relocated to emergency centers because of the waters that flooded their homes. At the end of the evening, 1000 people were still without electricity on the territory of the municipality.
In the last 24 hours, about 65 mm of rain fell in the Baie-Saint-Paul sector, including between 40 and 50 mm in the last twelve hours. Added to this is the melting of the snow.
